About Brittany Bueno MA AMFT
I am a second generation Mexican-American from South San Diego. After completing my undergraduate studies in psychology I spent much of my time working in harm reduction and crisis intervention. This work led me to pursue a master’s degree in clinical psychology, specializing in addiction and recovery. My clinical training involved working through a trauma informed lens with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

I was motivated to be a part of a team that worked from an integrative approach and looked for the root cause of mental health challenges. The Hope model offers this and aligns with my values and philosophy on a personal and professional level.
